Open Source Saturday: Let's get ready to Runaway!

The Penultimate meeting of 2012!  Only days before the Presidential election!  Come hide from the rancor with your REAL friend, cold cold technology. :)

In honor of those NOT going to Bsides this weekend I was going to demo, and hopefully scare the pants off the unbelievers, Dsploit.  This is an Android app that needs root and busybox installed to work.  It packages up several low level security tools and lets you verify your security defenses by performing various live sniffing and man-in-the-middle attacks.  Got your cookie! Yeeesss I did! Yeeessss I did! (So now I am you, muwahahahaha).

Also, I think we had several volunteers for demos - but I haven't conferred with anyone yet.

I wanted to talk about disaster recovery, as in how technology can be used for Hurricane victims (for example), right away - before the local infrastructure comes back.  Mesh potato is still floating in the back of my mind...
