any cons to running VMs on a cloud instance or hosted dedicated server like linode or 1&1? (vs running on your own in house hardware i mean.)
do VMs even work in the cloud?
are there particular features/functions that wont work?
are there specs/features you have to check for w/ the vendor/service?
i want to get 1 beefed up cloud instance w/ a ubuntu 12.04 image & root ssh access & run VMs on it (1 for zimbra server, 1 for webserver, 1 for voip/file server). curious if this is feasible, drawbacks, other considerations my inexperience hides from me.
