The OpenSSO Community Meets in Europe!

This second OpenSSO Community Day will take place at the Deutsches Museum, München (Munich), Germany, kindly hosted by the European Identity Conference 2009. Again, OpenSSO contributors, deployers and users will be able to come together in an informal 'unconference' setting.

Being an unconference, the only rigid item on the agenda is to decide at 9am on the sessions for the rest of the day. You can show up and talk about any OpenSSO-related topic you like. Maybe you have an interesting deployment, a new extension or a nagging question - sessions can be discussions as much as presentations. Now, that doesn't mean that there need be zero preparation - if you have a session in mind, go to the wiki and add it there, so folks can get an idea of the likely content ahead of time:

OpenSSO Community Day - Munich - May 5 2009

All are welcome, attendance is free, and food (lunch and maybe breakfast - to be confirmed) will be provided. We'll likely adjourn to a nearby bar at the end of the day to continue the conversation.

UPDATE - OpenSSO Community Day attendees are eligible for a 20% discount on registration for the European Identity Conference. Quote discount code OPENSSO when registering

Hi, I´m representing the EIC organizer. If you have any questions regarding the venue, available hotels around the venue or whatever, just ask.

Hi, do I have to register for the EIC to get to the OpenSSO community day? 1900Euro are a little bit to much to visit just the community day, even with a 20%discount... :) marc

I'd like to propose a 1/2 hour session detailing ID-Vault's launch of Gluu, a new OpenSSO based inter-domain federation and identity management infrastructure.

Hi Bavo - yes, there is some overlap, but, according to the EIC schedule (https://www.id-conf.com/eic2...) most of Tuesday is 'Pre-Conference Workshops', with the conference keynotes not starting until 15:00. We can play it by ear, to some extent. If folks want to get off to the keynotes at 3pm, we can reconvene the OpenSSO community group in the bar afterwards :-)

Tuesday May 5 2009 is also a conference day at EIC. So am I correct that this event will overlap with the first day of the conference?
