Deploying OpenStack

Ken Pepple of Internap will be in town next month, and he's made some time in his schedule to come talk to us! He'll be giving a short introduction to OpenStack, it's components, and its architecture, and the diving into some practical aspects of deploying this technology. If you getting jump started in OpenStack is at the top of your TODO list, you won't want to miss this one!

Word on the street is that he'll have a few copies of his O'Reilly book to give away...

Update: we've got a place now! We're going to have to change the RSVP cap to 25, due to venue limitations, but that doesn't look like a problem for this event. Come early, and grab a bite and a couple beers! Some of us will be showing up at 6:30pm to get a burger before Ken starts his Deployment talk :-)

Really enjoyed it - good introduction and glad you went into detail for advanced folks.

Special thanks to Ken Pepple and the Internap crew! Thanks for coming out and giving a great overview of your experiences with standing up a public OpenStack cloud!

The presentation was very well received with lots of good questions and interactions, great post-talk socializing, and more friendships formed. Ken shared his OpenStack history and experiences freely, assisting both new comers and veterans alike.

This is going to be a hard one to follow!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
