Hacking on Nova: Research with OpenStack

In this talk I'll go on a deep dive into the technical architecture of the OpenStack Nova (compute) project. I expect a lot of back and forth with the audience, so don't feel shy in asking questions at any point during the talk!

I will also demonstrate the changes made to Nova by watching log files on a research cluster and via the web interface Horizon.

This is your chance to learn a lot about how OpenStack works on the inside with a focus on extending the Nova API for research.

After this talk I want to gather consensus on a weekly or monthly meeting time so that we can meet much more regularly and maybe have a series of talks on OpenStack :-)
