SF Bay OpenStack Meetup Topic: Orchestrating OpenStack with OneOps

Details

Topic: Orchestrating OpenStack with OneOps

• What if you could manage the lifecycle of your application using a fraction of your current development and operations resources?

• What if you could logically describe your application topology, abstract it from specific hardware configurations and deploy to public and private clouds including OpenStack?

• What if you could reliably deliver complex applications in hours vs months?

• Does your company lack the appetite to move into a fully automated operational environment?

These are some of the topics we’ll be exploring as we discuss OneOps (http://oneops.com/), the open source cross-cloud deployment and orchestration platform created by @WalmartLabs (http://www.walmartlabs.com/). Presentations will highlight the agility and speed in which OneOps can drive efficiency in business and demo the OneOps solution on OpenStack cloud.

Speakers:

He laid down the foundation of IAM in @WalmartLabs and for the past few years, has been focusing on running OneOps at scale and has helped numerous teams to on-board their applications to the cloud. He has been building and running highly scalable applications and has championed tech-stack changes, as per need, across teams. He enjoys working with people and has provided mentorship to many.
