The CloudCenter OpenStack Working Group presents the first delivery of the Swift Install training (other than OpenCloudWeekend). This is a free course but space is limited to 30 RSVPs so we can spend enough time with those who need help. We want this training course to ROCK!

Do you want to experiment with the inner workings of OpenStack Swift? Bring your laptop and you will walk away with an instance of OpenStack Swift running on your laptop with this step-by-step, hands-on workshop.

4:15 pm - Registration
4:30 pm - Install setup (Install VirtualBox + OS)
5:00 pm - Overview of Swift and install process
5:15 pm - Install & configure Swift
6:30 pm - End Training / Begin OpenStack Meetup (https://www.meetup.com/openstack/events/42120012/)

About the Trainer:

Joe Arnold managed the first public OpenStack launch of Swift independent of Rackspace, and has subsequently deployed multiple large-scale cloud storage systems. His company, SwiftStack, provides management tools for Swift deployments.
