Beyond the Summit

OpenStack Summit in Austin was a great opportunity to meet with others in the community and forge relationships that would be of mutual benefit to everyone involved.

If you were at the summit, great! We will gather on May 5th, 2016 to discuss some takeaways from the summit and layout some plans going forward. This will be your opportunity to discuss changes, modifications, ideas, and more as it relates to the meetup and where we go from here.

We will also shortly discuss the upcoming OpenStack Day Texas and would love some feedback on the sponsor prospectus before making it available publicly. We will also discuss volunteer opportunities leading up to the event and ways to help in general. We are inviting the OpenStack community to make its mark in Houston and we want the event to have input from all of you!

As always we will have food and drinks - ideas for this are welcome - send a message to the mailing list or via Meetup private messaging. Also! We will be giving away (5) signed copies of OpenStack Administration with Ansible by our very own Walter Bentley.*

*We have ordered the books and hope they are available by the meetup. If not, we will still raffle them off and have them available later.
