Typography is intertwined with almost any information hierarchy found in visual design today. Indeed, from the written word to the printed word to words on screen, the navigability of a text has always been a key consideration in a document’s success. This meet-up presentation will detail a few aspects about how to approach typography in your projects. The points discussed will be offered with the reader or user in mind, and should be a helpful explanation for designers at any level.
Diego Margini's talk:
While creating flexible layouts is important, there's a whole lot more that goes into truly exceptional adaptive web experiences. This session will introduce the Principles of Adaptive Design: ubiquity, flexibility, performance, enhancement and future-friendliness. We need go beyond media queries in order to preserve the web's ubiquity and move it in a future-friendly direction.
