Hello Everyone,

we are planning a cross between a meetup and a workshop: a "Meetshop" if you will!

The Topic: Math for Visuals!

We will start off a bit oldschool, using paper and scissors to create various geometric shapes! Then there will be a few presentations. StudioNAND http://www.nand.io will be on hand to speak on math/shapes in generative design using Processing. We will also have two other talks touching on topics of vectors, polar coordinates , linear transformation in 2D as well as a talk about the screen as a cartesian plane (coordinate system) covering basic 2D maths for visual programming. Finally, we'd like to have people creating their own geometric shapes and designs in the computer, so please bring your laptop with!

This meetshop is aimed at beginners and designers who are interested in learning more about math as it relates to visual design.
If you have anyway questions, please get in touch.
We hope to see you all there!
