Kids workshop (coaches only)

We have been approached by the local administration (eZurich, Wirtschaftsförderung Zürich) and Startup@UZH to give workshops to local high school classes.  Google offered to host us and we already have candidate classes from Kantonsschule RG and Enge.

Please do not sign up for this event if you're not coaching.
We already have a pre-allocated class of kids.
Additional workshops open for everybody will follow at a later point in time.

This is a pilot project to see how we can hook best into K-12 education and runs in parallel to our longer term, ongoing efforts in Berlin.  We're currently looking into our Python for beginners material, Scratch curricula, eToys/Makey Makey, Processing, Blender, and different hackathon formats.

The students are going to be in Sekundarstufe II, ie. aged 16+.  Lunch is generously sponsored by Google;  the event features an office tour.

Disclaimer:  Education for kids is different from normal workshops.  While we highly encourage everyone to join in on the fun — and it isgoing to be great fun — that kind of teaching is not for everyone.

Great organization, great preparation, great execution. Had a debrief after the workshop, we discussed the details how we could improve next time. Even if we don't improve at all, it's already great and worth doing again.

Good Lord, I screwed up that poll real bad. I meant it to be 8pm in the evening. I'm not in town myself at 8am, so it'll need to be a late meeting. There is no problem with having multiple meetings though.

Sooo, this is a bit confusing. I can only attend on Monday 29th very late, at about 20:30. The morning does not work with me. On Wednesday and the following 2 weeks, I can not join at all. However, I am definetly not the most important attendant for this meeting, so maybe I could simply be informed about your decisions via mail or something.

According to the Doodle ( Mon, Jul 29, 8pm seems to work for some of you (next best option is Wed, Jul 31, 8pm.) Objections?
