I received a personal email from the executive team at Ties.com in Garden Grove, CA. They just posted a job opportunity that requires a strong knowledge of SEO and online marketing and asked if we'd be interested in sharing with our group. Well, duh. :)
Here's the 411:
Essentially they are looking to hire a marketing generalist who has hands-on experience and a successful and demonstrable track record (I can think of a few people in our group that fit that description). They have a growing marketing team which you would be responsible for managing and helping grow.
They have very aggressive revenue goals that are on track for beating by 150% and maintaining that trajectory is important.
They would happily pay for relocation costs for the right candidate.
Their culture is very important. They have a small team of highly dedicated and passionate "A" players working with them.
There are two things they ask all their employees to have:
They realize that they are not selling the sexiest products. They are not selling Porsches, but are selling a lifestyle - and frankly they love their products.
The average employee has been with the company for 5 years. They have people who have been with them since the doors opened, and some who joined last week.
They attract only top talent as the team dynamics and pace of their growth dictates who would shine and who would struggle in their environment. They don't take themselves too serious. At times, it gets pretty chaotic – loud music, lots of relevant/*un-relevant conversations, etc. They have a casual and fun atmosphere with a MUST GET YOUR WORK DONE attitude.
The candidate must love working in a dog friendly environment; they have up to 5-6 running around at any given time. Most days it's just 3-4 (small docile dogs mainly).
If you feel this role is a perfect fit for you, please apply online here: http://www.indeed.com/job/marketing-director-advanced-seo-experience-1e82a05440733a16
If you don't like receiving these opportunities, let me know and I won't let it happen again. If you like them, I'll keep them coming periodically.
Hope you're having an awesome week!
