Too Many Testing Frameworks!

Too Many Testing Frameworks!

Details

There is a long list of testing frameworks for Node.js, and even more for front-end JS development: Jasmine, Mocha / Chai, Vows, and good ole NodeUnit... not to mention qUnit and the Testacular / Karma / Protractor nonsense introduced by AngularJS. I propose a round-table discussion on testing strategies: What do YOU use to write and run tests and why? How do YOU write tests for your Node applications? Do you even test? Why or why not? David Rogers will be leading us in a discussion on how to figure all of this out.

The Orlando Node meetup typically lasts about an hour and we meet at Envy Labs in the GAI building in Thorton Park. Parking is free, but you need to park on the 2nd, 3rd or 4th levels to get in. The first floor doors are locked in the evening. Look forward to seeing you there!

Follow @node_orlando, David Rogers (@al_the_x) and TJ Krusinski (@tjkrusinski) on twitter for up to date info on the meetup.
