Yesterday I surveyed lower Manhattan and I didn't see any visable damage to map, so I think that's out.

I'm open to the idea of using somewhere like the Occupy location, but for me, the most important things are:

1. Finding something interesting to map (either a park, or Sandy Damage, etc.)


2. Having a place that's casual and open to people entering for a short 
time, then walking around, and re-entering later, without too much 

That's why coffee shops or libraries are ideal.
