A diamond in the rough, and a popular diving, snorkeling, and sports fishing location. Feels kinda like Portofino Di Genoa (Italian Riviera). This beach is secluded, but terribly stunning and intimate. Only 500 feet in length, Shaw's Cove is fairly small and cozy. Most of its visitors are residents, divers, and regulars. Yet the beach can fill up on a beautiful summer day. Visitors, tourists and locals enjoy swimming, snorkeling, boogie boarding, skin diving, scuba diving, and rock and surf fishing. Entry to the beach is fairly easy if you time the waves. All forms of marine life (except those listed on the sign at the top of the stairs) are protected. Great under-water visibility and beautiful conditions often exist. The reefs here are teaming with life. Plenty of Starfish, Garibaldi, Urchin, Mussel shells, Octopus, Sea Bass, and Rays.

Directions: Take PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) to Laguna Beach -
Turn Left (If coming Southbound on PCH) on Cliff Drive. (Or right on Cliff drive (If Northbound))
Continue on Cliff drive (5 Blocks) and park near Fairview st.
***Access is off of Fairview Street and Cliff Drive. There is a stairway off Cliff Drive leading down to the Cove.

***Parking is limited and there are both metered and free parking available.
***Please Carpool to avoid congestion and hassle. I will setup a Meeting place and time for those who would like to carpool.

***This event is kid, Family, and Single Parent Friendly biggrin
