It was great to meet you! Sheri and I did get out to the patio, which was lovely except for some second-hand smoke. We watched about 10 people fall off the mechanical bull, too. It seems like each meetup event is different from all the others, so I recommend going to a variety! I hope you had a decent time, in spite of all the estrogen at the table. It's not always like that, though women do seem to outnumber men at most of our meetups.

My advice for anyone just starting out is to not get discouraged. The first few times climbing are difficult ones. Your arms will get pumped out and it will exhaust you. But it's one of the most fun ways to get a workout that I've found. Again, welcome!
