This event is open to the first 20 guest who pay. If you join the wait list there is a great chance you can join the trip.

Remember these are outdoor activities so make sure you bring warm clothes to enjoy the ice fishing. At the garden we can leave our bags on the bus.
If you have a small camping chair i would bring it or at least a cushion you can pickup for 2000 won.
UPDATE: WE WILL BE STAYING IN A PENSION INSTEAD OF CAMPING
BUT SOMEONE IS WANT A SLEEP IN A TENT,THAT'S QUITE POSSIBLE !!! ^^

We have a great event planned to start off the year!!
This time, Our group will enjoy two festivals.
- The garden of Morning calm(아침고요수목원) - The garden festival of brilliant starlight colors(오색별빛정원전)

- Jara singsing festival(Fishing trout etc)

Our destination is Ga-pyung located in Gyeonggi-do . Every winter season, these two festivals are very popular in Korea.
Jara island is one of the biggest places that holds a trout festival and they have the advantage of being close to Seoul. We can easily go Jara island by train or bus and enjoy the winter festival.
Schedule!!
1st day
14:30 meeting time Yeouido Station line 5 exit 3
15:00 Moving from Seoul to Morning calm garden by bus
16:30 Participate in garden light festival.
19:30 Moving from garden to pension.
(we already booked a suite with 2 small rooms and 1 large room)
(The campground could no longer drive us to the fish festival so we booked a pension near the river. The cost to you is the same but we wont be able to provide drinks so please bring some beer or soda for your dinner)
20:30 Prepare & Eat dinner (Included)
21:00 Enjoy party(Our event organizer prepare some games!!!)
2nd day
07:00 Wake up
07:30 Breakfast together (included)
08:00 Moving to Jara island and participate in Singsing festival.
Lunch at festival on your own trout if your lucky!!
15:30 Moving from Jara island to Gapyung station(by taxi)
16:00 Moving from Gapyung station to Seoul by Subway

Actually, they have a lot of events and games besides catching trout. that's why were not including the entrance fee of each event. But I can explain about each event & pay in the Singsing festival.
Trout fishing 13,000won
Sledding 7,000won
Ice skating 5,000won
Ice balling, Ice golf, Human curling, traditional game etc : free
