It seemed like we had a lively conversation and an overall good time.
Thanks to Stacey for bringing some non-Miller Light...it seemed to go over very well :)
We'll be sure to correct the time on the next meetup to be at 6:30 instead of 6:00, but thanks to all of you that showed up early (on time).
Some suggestions for next month's meeting include demonstrating flash attacks, and -well that's all, but we plan to demonstrate manual web app testing utilizing proxy-based services. We saw from tonight's demo that both commercial and opensource products include this feature, but we intentionally avoided it for tonight.
If I'm missing anything, let me know, but I would like to thank Steve Pinkham from Maven Security and Hans Enders from HP for putting in the time and effort to demonstrate some web app scanning products and techniques to is this evening.
Once we move through this next meeting, we will then focus on securing code from the development standpoint. Please let me know if you would like to participate in presenting in future meetings surrounding this topic.
