Dave Bosher is one of Oxford's finest young guitarists, with a repertoire encompassing everything from J.M Hendrix to J.S Bach. He performed at The Arts Group's Babel Anthology launch in 2012 and is now making his Christmas concert debut.
The event will start at 7.30pm, and feature music by Albeniz, Tarrega, Bach, Satie, Villa-Lobos and Vivaldi (the Lute Concerto in D), as well as solo arrangements of well-known music by Lloyd-Webber, David Bowie, Lou Reed, and a medley from Les Miserables. There will also be a few Christmassy numbers, and a handful of short self-compositions
Tickets are £5 on the door, and there will be soft drinks and mince pies in the interval.
Dave is a lovely and engaging chap and although a seasoned performer at weddings and functions, this will be his first solo recital 'proper.'
We could meet at St Mary and St John's from 7:00 and go for a drink after the concert.
Look for Oxford Arts Group signs or call[masked] to find us on the night.
There is on-street parking outside the church on Cowley Road.
