We are seeking paddlers to join our team. Living Root is a diverse group of men and women dedicated to the sport of dragon boat. Started in China 2,300 years ago, dragon boat is a competitive sport where long, sleek boats holding 20 paddlers, a drummer, and a steerer race down a 500 meter course. We practice three times a week, and we're always looking for new people to come paddle with us. No experience necessary! Come check us out or see our website at www.livingroot.org

What? Paddling indoors? Yes, it's true. It sounds different and it is, but it's a great workout. Come paddle with Living Root Dragon Boat, a non-profit, co-ed, competitive dragon boat team as we train during the off-season.
We will hold practice at the public swimming pool at the JFK Elementary School in Cambridge (5 Cherry St., near Porter Square). Practice starts poolside at 9am and lasts 1 hour. Read more
