Is there any type of paddle board race involved in this fest.

    January 24

    • Michael

No SUP race planned at this time. We are open to options, particularly with supporting volunteers.

An outstanding event that was well organized, well planned and well executed.

Many thanks Micheal...no idea how you do this. You must be tapped directly into the Matrix! So I just realized the new logo represents the 3 different paddles we use. After trolling around in one of those Native boats we may need to add a "peddle paddle" What a hoot...I want to see a race designed around those soon!

This was the best Paddlefest yet! Amazingly organized and so close to the water. Loved being able to walk down to Barefoot Charlie's, too! Thank you so much for organizing, Michael and so many others!

Mike deserves a great big ole pat on the back and a heart felt "THANK YOU!!!" for his efforts. He (and oh so many others) worked very, very hard to put this event together. ANd a great event was it. My wife and I spent about two hours wandering around looking at (and admiring) all the kayaks, SUPs and yes, even a few canoes. Great vendors and the lake in front of the event was FULL of folks young, old, beginners and experienced parents trying out kayaks, SUPs and, yes even a few canoes (I tend to lean toward canoes in case you have not noticed). Already lking forward to next year.

Can someone tell me what this event is like? Is it just really crowded and a total zoo, or is there a real opportunity to learn? I.e., is it worth bringing my boat? Thanks!

    April 17

    • Roger B.

Elizabeth, It's a bit of a zoo. But it's a really good zoo. Good vibes. Bringing your boat is up to you, if you want to do a paddle. There should be plenty of demo boats. If you do bring a boat and leave it on the shore, people will take the liberty of taking it out on the water. At least that is my experience. Some folks bring boats and are fine with sharing.

      1 · April 28

    • Michael

Designated boat parking area for non demo boats.

      April 28

  • Michele G

can we bring kayaks to sell?

    April 22

    • J P Morgan S.

Michael, that is what the tent is for, we will help you sell your stuff, I have a kayak I want to sell also. We will start setting up the tent between 7:30 and 8. Bring your stuff anytime.

      1 · April 24

    • Michele G

Ok. I may bring a small river kayak that needs a new home...
