Those are excellent suggestions, and so easy! I live less than a mile from the fire department so visiting will be a breeze.

Dear Rachel,

Perhaps it would be in your best interest to visit your local fire dept,explain what happens with the neighbor, and that you plan on having a fire on this date with weather permitting.Then call or better yet go by there and remind them that day. Give them a contact number for any questions, and if possible let your Nosie Rosie next door know that you have spoke with the fire dept.and they know the plans of you having a fire.
