If you want to learn Brazilian percussion, this workshop is for you. Carlinhos Pandeiro de Ouro is one of the world's greatest pandeiro players, who was music director of the Mangueira samba school, and has performed with just about every great Brazilian musician you can name.
Percussion class is Tuesdays at 7:30PM, at the 18th St Arts Center, 1639 18th St, in Santa Monica.
We'll be in the main gallery at 1639. Closest cross street is Olympic.
Class fee is $20.
