THE SCENE:The Steaming Tender is an enormous historic passenger railroad station that was converted into a restaurant-quasi museum. On it's grounds, besides real freight trains, both parked and rolling, is an old passenger car, an old coal locomotive, and of course the station itself.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:Be sure to take the Mass Pike Palmer Exit, and not Route 20 past Brimfield, since the Brimfield show is that weekend.
WHERE TO MEET*: At the posted time, with 15 minute leeway for late-comers. Anywhere in the parking lot is fine.
DIRECTIONS:Mass Pike west, Palmer Exit. Off the highway, take a right into the center. On Main Street take a left, and the restaurant is 1/2 mile on your right.
THINGS TO BRING WHICH ARE OFTEN FORGOTTEN:
Mosquito repellant, Paper towels, Sweater, water, food, sunblock
IF LOST: If you become lost getting there, call.
INCLEMENT WEATHER: It is up to you to determine if the weather makes painting untenable. Most of the time I will send out an email 24 hours in advance saying whether I will be there. Occasionally I will wait until the morning of the event to check the weather.
