Announcing a new Meetup for Southeastern PA Nerds and Geeks Social Alliance!

What: Welcome to Fright Night... In Phoenixville! (But let's eat first.)

When: Friday, March 5,[masked]:30 PM

Iron Hill Brewery
130 Bridge St
Phoenixville, PA 19460

Join us, dear friends, as we consume food and then turn our attention to... ZOMBIES!

The plan is to meet at the Iron HIll Brewery for food and drink... then on to the movie:

The first Friday of each month the Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville shows classic horror films. Friday March 5th at 9:45pm, they will be showing the classic Lucio Fulci's Zombie.

Lucio Fulci?s unofficial follow up to George Romero?s Dawn of the Dead (1978) is a twisted, scary and fun romp in the zombie genre. After a sailboat shows up in New York harbor with the undead on it, Anne (Tisa Farrow) and Peter (Ian McCulloch) go looking for the boat?s owner. Their journey takes them to Matul Island where a mad man is bringing the dead back to life. Part voodoo and part science, this shocking tale reveals the dangers when one person decides to play God. The film has a realistic nightmare quality to it as if somewhere this might have actually happened. To get anyone to watch the film all you have to say is ?Zombie vs. Shark? (check it out on YouTube) and you?re there.

Anyway - please join us for this fun time. If you can't make dinner, it would be great to see you at the movie... meet us in front at 9:30.

Please indicate on your RSVP if you're coming to dinner or not. Thanks!
