We are not your typical Moms Group! The PARENTING IN COLUMBUS PLAYGROUP is an active group, comprised of single, married, stay-at-home and working parents from Columbus, Ft. Benning, Phenix City and the surrounding areas. Our Members range in ages from 19 to 56 with babies from newborns to teens.

The PARENTING IN COLUMBUS PLAYGROUP was created in order to provide a place where moms could find friendship and support while their children play together. We plan time for the children AND for the Mamas!

We have events planned for children of ALL ages! Newborns and the caring of their Mamas, Tiny Tots, Toddlers, Big Kids and Preteens!

We include the entire family in our planning!

Events are planned at various times of the week in order to provide opportunities for participation.

Please join us as we continue to make PARENTING IN COLUMBUS PLAYGROUP one of the most active, fun and successful groups in Columbus, Ft. Benning, Phenix City and the surrounding areas.

Membership is $20 per calendar year! New members are given 30 days to try!

We are a very active group, and have many events to choose from. If you are used to a very quiet lifestyle, you may feel overwhelmed by the number of our events. If so, don't feel like you have to attend all of them.

Pick your favorites, and give yourself time to adjust to a more active lifestyle! If you have trouble deciding which events to attend, feel free to contact me, and I'd be happy to help you.

As a group member we ask that you attend a group event and visit our site at least once a month. Those who do not are subject to removal.

Meetup considers those who have not visited the site in 3 months inactive. Those with inactive member status will be removed.

All new members must fill out the questionnaire completely and provide your Name, Address, Telephone Number and Email. This information must be received prior to membership approval.

It is imperative that you provide adequate supervision for your children at all times during events. Once you decide to attend an event, you assume responsibilities for any and all risks associated with that activity.

The posting of events is not an endorsement of any venue. We try to research venues and activities to determine if they are age-appropriate for our children, but it is up to you to decide whether activities are appropriate for your own children.

We take photos during many of our events. By becoming a member of the PICP, you are giving us permission to take and post photos of you and/or your children on our site which is private and accessible only to group members.
