Cineforum Italiano: Buongiorno Papà (Hello Dad!)

  • Sep 8, 2013 · 6:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Andrea (Raoul Bova) lives the life of a 38-year-old single guy.  He's superficial and totally devoted to his career in a leading agency for product placement. Work, fun, one night stands, and lack of accountability characterize his existence until the day when, in the apartment he shares with his friend Paul (Edoardo Leo), arrives Layla (Rosabell Laurenti Sellers), an extravagant seventeen-year-old who claims to be his daughter. Conceived during a brief adventure in the dunes of Sabaudia (a coastal town in Lazio), Layla is accompanied by former rocker grandfather Enzo (Mark Giallini) and the two have no plans to leave.

I'm thinking about making the trip down from Baltimore but have a question for the locals... Is there parking near that someone could recommend or would I be better off going to the Greenbelt Metro and Metro in? Thanks in advance!

Holy Rosary Church (595 3rd St NW Washington, DC 20001) has a parking lot with space for about 25 cars. You need to arrive early for a spot because it usually fills up. The best option, in my opinion, is the metro. The nearest metro stop (Judiciary Square) is about one block from 595 1/2 3rd St NW. Spero di vederti! saluti

There is also street parking which is free on Sunday. Availability seems unpredictable. It seems to depend on what events are happening in China Town and at the Verizon Center.
