    Speaking was nerve-wracking!

You did great! You're also not alone. I still get nervous even after doing tons of podcasts, video lessons, and speaking at both DjangoCon and PyCon.

I'm heading into the city around lunch so I don't have to deal with traffic coming from Beaverton. Anyone have suggestions for a coffee shop with good wifi to work at? Also, best/cheapest places to park nearby?

    August 12, 2013

    • Wes R.

Barista has some of the best coffee in that vicinity. The wifi is ok from what I remember (only used it a few times). There's also Urban Grind. Can't help out too much with parking. Most people just park on the street. There's some longer hour spots down near Marshall or Northrup I think.

Umbria is 2 blocks away on 12th and Everett and has great coffee and wifi. There's a parking lot you can put your car in for the day on 12th and Flanders... Depending on how many hours you'll have your car downtown it might be cheapest.

Looking for an advanced Python developer and possible partner for a purpose based social network start up designed to facilitate quests. I've dabbled with Python but and trying to stay on the strategy side. I'll try to attend the next meetup.

Planning to attend (pending my relocation to Portland). Will have to confirm closer to the date.
