HELP! Where should I go if I'm looking to hire a Python developer? I'm not sure if I should just show up to one of these meetings and cross my fingers, or if I would be unwelcome there because I'm not a developer myself?? My current developer is a CS student at PSU and, at the very least, I want to find him a mentor that he can reach out to for guidance and support. (I'm a student at PSU also). Thank you. :)

Hey Brian! Our events aren't the place to network for hiring purposes, although you're welcome to sponsor the group if you'd like to get the word out about job opportunities to our members. Shoot us an email though the meetup interface. Thanks!

Great! I got the help I was looking for, and met a lot of great people in the process.

I'm looking for a Python developer for a project and perhaps as a founder / partner. My last project won Forbes Best of the Web and was number 7 in the world for traffic by women. I have an interesting project. I may show up on Tuesday, but either way feel free to contact me if you are interested in helping. parisroussos at gmail
