Revolution/Evolution

2014 was a year of wearables, launches, failures, and experimentation. It was a classic technology revolution year. But new tech isn't about next year tech, it's about last year's tech perfected. Perfecting revolutions requires an act of evolution, and the next year or two will be rife with it.

Let's look at the revolution of new wearable successes of the previous year (quantitative self, smart watches) and wearables that require more evolution in the coming years (Google Glass, smart clothes) for mainstream success. What can we do to help evolve this space?
