Beyond the Comp: A UI Developer's Toolset

As a followup to Erin Kurtz's talk in May, Edward Irby will focus on the technical details of creating html wireframes and prototypes using modern libraries specifically Sass, jQuery, Handlebars js, and Meteor js. He will demonstrate and explain in technical detail how the four can be used to rapidly design and develop a UI. At the end, Edward will demo a live and current project.

Bring your thinking caps, this is a deep dive.

Thanks Vitamin T for the food, Webtrends for the space, and Edward for the grey matter.

edward did a great job of showing tools he uses for UI development and design. really great info. one qualm - he could have slowed down a wee bit, said he was nervous and i felt that made him rush a bit. other than that , great presentation. also, good space from web trends (thank you) and pizza from vitamin t (double thank you!).

Someone left a pair of sunglasses on the counter along the back wall. I left them with the security guard downstairs with a note.
