Welcome To The Pearl River Patriots /912 Project - Picayune

Who Are We?

We are everyday American citizens doing what we believe in; faith, family, freedom, honesty, integrity, working for what we want and not expecting the government to take care of us. We believe in the Constitution of the United States and the rights it guarantees us as Americans. We believe that Government was meant to work for and not hold us back.

We are a watchdog group that will be diligent in our efforts to hold our elected officials and representatives accountable for the decisions they make, supposedly on our behalf. If they do not work in our best interest, we shall work to assure that they are not re-elected.

Our Mission Statement:

We are determined to restore America to our Nation based on the morality and principles on which it was founded, to restore our Constitution to what it was originally intended to be, and to once again know that our Government is re-established as being Of the People, For the People, and By the People.

We are not Republicans, nor are we Democrats. We are Americans and we are joined together to take our country back. We must do so in honor of our courageous Founders, and for those brave men and women who died defending liberty throughout the world, not only for us, but for all nations. We must do so for the sake of our children, and theirs, and theirs after them.

We are here to educate our fellow Americans and create a bond in our community so that we all begin to take action in saving America, rather than sitting around just complaining about the problems which we have allowed to happen.

These are our Principles:

America is the greatest nation on Earth.

Our nation was founded based on The Ten Commandments and the principles of Christianity. Our Founders made this quite clear, so posterity would never waiver from those principles.

The family is sacred, and our children are ours to raise, not the United Nations and not the government.

If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it... period!

We are blessed with the God-given rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.

We are people who work hard for what we have and we will share it with whom we please. Government cannot force us to be charitable.

It is not un-American for us to disagree with authority or to share our personal opinions.

The government works for us. We do not answer to them.

These are the 12 values we adhere to: Honesty, Reverence, Hope, Thrift, Humility, Charity, Sincerity, Moderation, Hard Work, Courage, Personal Responsibility and Gratitude.

What our Founders said:

"I shall exercise every faculty I possess to prevent the Constitution from being nullified, destroyed or impaired; and even though I should see it fail, I will still, with a voice feeble perhaps, but earnest as ever issued from human lips, and with extinguish, call on the people to come to its rescue." (Daniel Webster)

"The preservation of the sacred fire of liberty, and the destiny of the republican model of government, are justly considered deeply, perhaps as finally, staked on the experiment entrusted to the hands of the American people." (G. Washington)

"When the government fears the people, it is liberty. When the people fear the government, it is tyranny." (Thomas Paine)

"If a law is unjust, a man is not only right to disobey it; he is obligated to do so." (Thomas Jefferson)

"If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains set lightly upon you; and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen." (Samuel Adams)

"God, who hath given us life, gave us liberty. And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are a gift from God? That they are not to be violated but with his wrath? Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, and that His justice cannot sleep forever." (Thomas Jefferson)

What members are saying! (See all group reviews)

I've read the comments and feel anyone in congress needs to be out and we need to vote Republican to get the Democrats out so they won't have the majority. ...

Because you need to defend yourself and your family from big government.
