This is a newly forming group of cycling enthusiasts who enjoy riding and socializing in the wine country of California. We will enjoy rides of varied lengths on awesome backroads in various wine regions including Sonoma, Healdsburg, Napa, Livermore, and hopefully even the Central Coast region. Our rides will all be followed with a social picnic or tasting or both. Our rides will also be social in nature of pace, with the objective of enjoying the road and the destination more than the speed in which we ride and get back home. That said, cyclists should be prepared for road cycling and the ride mileage. Members of this group will be required to:

Wear a helmet.
Abide by the vehicle code - yes it applies to cyclists.
Be in physical condition to manage the mileage of the ride.
Know how to ride in a group.
Be self sufficient with water, pump, spare tubes, and good attitude.

Our next ride will be a great spin through the beautiful wine region in Healdsburg. After our ride we will sip on Pinot, share a friendly potluck picnic and maybe even toss around the bocce balls.

As a native of Sonoma County I look forward to sharing some of my favorite local backroads. In addition there are several wineries I'm fond of and so many more to explore. We will ride, picnic, toss bocce balls, taste, sip, spit, and enjoy all of this in good company.

All members will be required to sign a hold harmless liability waiver. Be nice to your ride leaders, they are volunteers giving their time and energy to the group... this is not a business enterprise. Car pooling is highly encouraged!
