Permaculture is like a pair of glasses you put on which allow you to see possibilities; that rubble-filled back yard as a food garden, your local community as a sustainable settlement, yourself as part of the hugely complex web of nature and the natural patterns which form the world around you. - R. Hopkins

Meet other local people who support Permaculture design for creating sustainable human settlements.

Permaculture is a design science which offers positive solutions to the problems facing the world by using ecology as the basis of organizing systems of food production, housing, technology, economics and community.

Join us as we cultivate a beautiful, delicious and healthy tomorrow. Activities include discussion groups, tours, hands-on workshops, Introduction to Permaculture courses and the full, 72 hour, Internationally recognized Permaculture Design Certificate Course (in a flexible, non-residential format).

This group belongs to all of us! Post information to the message board, ask questions, share your events. If you have ideas or thoughts on how we could be more effective, or want to participate or lead an activity or gathering, please either contact the organizer or come to the next meetup and share your thoughts.

Legal FYI stuff: We have decided NOT to register as a 501c3 (not-for-profit) entity, doing so is prohibitively expensive, so any donations you are kind enough to give to the group are NOT tax deductable.
