Our good friends at ECHO are hosting the renowned permaculturist and author Eric Toensmeier. Here are the event details:
"On the ECHO Farm, join renowned perennial agroecosystems expert and award-winning author, Eric Toensmeier, in a day of exploring concepts and opportunities related to growing food forests and utilizing perennial crops. The day's activities will also include tours and activities of related efforts on the ECHO Farm, including visits to polyculture planting sites. Eric is the award-winning author of Paradise Lot and Perennial Vegetables, and the co-author of Edible Forest Gardens. He was appointed lecturer at Yale University, and an international trainer, presenting in English and Spanish in the US, Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, and the Caribbean. He is also currently writing Carbon Farming: a Global Toolkit for Stabilizing the Climate with Tree Crops and Regenerative Agriculture Practices. Eric has studied permaculture and useful plants of the world for over two decades."
$30.00 for early bird registration through January 21 and $40.00 for late registration after January 21. Registration is limited to 120 persons.
