Introduction

I am a college student with a double major in Poli Sci and Math. I plan on going for my PhD in mathematics with a possible side minor in astrophysics. I love reading - it's been my outlet since I learned to read....

What kind of books do you enjoy reading?

I have been a bibliophile since elementary school - my favorite genres are Harry Potter, science (Kaku, Cox, Greene, Hawking), and environmental/animal interest.

Are you a fan of "real" (non e-book) books, e-readers or both?

I understand the efficiency of having an e-reader; however, I cannot read on them - I crave the actual feeling of paper under my fingers. I also love filling up all my bookcases - they are the thing I collect and will always collect.

On average how many books do you read a year?

Aside from all the books I read for school I read around at least a book a week during school semesters. When on break (winter and summer) I try to read at least a book a day - the librarians know me personally...

Any suggestions for spots to get together at, ie coffee houses etc.?

My mecca is the library - they often let groups get together.
