This meetup is a group of mothers, fathers, grandparents, and siblings helping each other with the stresses of child custody, child support, visitation rights and other issues. We are a diverse group of varying backgrounds and professional careers that share experiences and lend personal advice. We will be helping parents through peer educational forums for self representation, or Pro Se litigation. As a group we work together to pursue changes in legislation that will make the family court system more practical and balanced, promoting parental equality. This group has lobbied hard and continues to bring awareness to gain support for Pa House Bill 463, a presumptive joint custody bill. This Bill now has 58 co-sponsors and the support of many our State's County Commissioners due to our lobbing efforts.
We believe that EVERY child has the right to be guided, nurtured and supported emotionally, physically and financially by BOTH parents.
This group is a must join if:
* You feel that you have ever been treated unfairly in Family Court.
* You feel the Family Court system is NOT really looking after your childs best interests.
* The court system has reduced you to an occasional visitor of the ones you love the most.
* You have ever been BULLIED br Domestic Relations.
* You are a grandparent and are being denied access to loved ones.
* You are being Alienated from your children.
* You have ever been denied information about your child from a public service provider. (schools, doctors, ect..)
There is NO better group to be a part of if any of the above describes you!
