We will discuss a technique presented last year by Vince Menanno of Beezwax for running imports and exports on the server using PSOS and External Container fields. Jerry Salem and Mike Ahern, both FileMaker Developers at IT Solutions Consulting (http://itsolutions-inc.com/filemaker), will talk through how this works, review the benefits (performance and otherwise) and general caveats.
We will also discuss new container behavior data, specifically the new AVPlayer Script Steps that allow for very granular control of embedded videos in container fields.
