8:30 - 10 Hack on React/get questions answered
Facebook React brings functional programming to the frontend. We will livecode four demo apps, starting at the very basics and working up through more advanced examples. Here is a sneak peek at one of the examples in blog form. (http://www.dustingetz.com/2014/02/18/react-dynamic-forms.html)
Lots of audience interaction, no slides, yay!
If you plan on attending this meetup, which format would you prefer?
• 2 hour livecoding talk
• 4 hour bring-a-laptop workshop
Please vote here, in this google poll (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1wtU5ubUPz_DEAi5-G1kq_xyk5PzFPksdG3sXyTeL7cs/viewform). A workshop means that as we livecode, you will follow along on your laptop, and we will be there to help debug things that go wrong.
(Both are free, obviously.)
