PHP updates and offerings from Zend Technologies

This month we'll be hosting a presentation from Zend Technologies - the company behind the PHP langauge as well as a number of tools professional PHP developers use and rely on.

Edward Kietlinksi, Zend Solutions Consultant will explore the complete Zend software stack and how to optimize your efforts with PHP applications. Open source example applications like Magento eCommerce, osCommerce, Joomla, SugarCRM, Drupal, will be used to showcase how to tackle common and complex problems. Both the open source Zend stack and the Professional Edition solutions will be shown to address poor performance, troubleshooting problems, identifying bottlenecks, slow databases, integrating PHP into Java, and improving MVC Zend Framework apps. Edward will also show Zend Server CE/PE, Zend Studio, and Zend Framework

In addition we'd like to open with one or two short presentations from Meetup members showcasing recent projects or topics they're interested in. Please contact me or leave a note here if you'd like to present for 5-10 minutes before the main presentation.
