For the Bachata lessons from 7pm til 8pm, and 8pm til 9pm, Jose Gonzales has adjusted the lessons slightly, so if you have not yet entered the Bachata Dance world due to lack of lessons and experience, then the April 12 event is just for you. Jose has noted:
" We are changing things up so that the people who have been progressing with there Bachata can feel more challenged. I'm going to do two separate Bachata classes from 7-8 will be a beginner class and 8-9 will be a open level in between beginner and intermediate. I think this way the people who are more ahead can continue to get better and the beginners don't have to feel left out on some stuff. If this works out I will continue to do it this way. Classes will be $10 and you can take both if you would like for the same price. Members of Philly Salsa Meetup and BACHATA VS SALSA only pay $5."
So your excuse of "But I'm just a beginner in Bachata" is about to end, this is your chance to learn this style of dance that is really becomming more popular all the time. And if you have any friends who might be interested in learning Bachata, why not invite to this event to learn. Just have them join the Philly Salsa Meetup to get the generous discount that Jose has given us, and be sure to tell them to be ready for an awesome night. Message me, Organizer Luther Lockard, or Jose Gonzales if you need more information.
