As artists, we spend most of our creative time alone. Creating art is a very singular, solitary task. With "The Artist's Way" as a guide, we can create a community of support and encouragement. The following quote from the author's website sums it up:
"When The Artist's Way was first published, I expressed a wish for Artist’s Way groups to spring into being. I envisioned them as peer-run circles—“creative clusters”—where people would serve one another as believing mirrors, uniting with the common aim of creative unblocking." Julia Cameron
Whether you're a writer, dancer, visual artist, photographer, singer or fiddler, your presence is welcomed in our communal circle of creative energy.

"The Artist's Way" involves a comprehensive 12-week program in which you recover your creativity from a variety of blocks, and self-sabotage, replacing them with artistic confidence and productivity. As we continue to meet up for group activities, we can decide if we'd like to embark on the 12-week journey together.
In the meantime, if anyone wants to host a weekly meeting, let me know. I can add it to the calendar.
For the November meeting, we're going to put the talking on hold and let our creativity take the mic. Sketchers should bring their sketch pads, writers bring your writing utensils, photographers bring your cameras, knitters bring your needles & yarn, jugglers bring your balls...
