Worcester Alliance of Photographers - AKA: WAP Message Board › WAM Photo Classes...Photographing People Inside and Out
Any chance that you could send the email below out to all of the WAP members. Classes start this weekend at WAM.
Thanks very much.
Just wanted to let you know that I have a couple of exciting classes coming up at the Worcester Art Museum beginning in April.
Photographing People Inside and Out
You will learn how to take natural looking photographs of people inside and outside. Inside you will learn how to make studio quality portraits using both a formal setting with studio lights and studio backgrounds and a more informal setting using available lighting or flash at the camera. Outside you will learn how to make great outdoor portraits using just available light supplemented at times with your flash or a reflector. And we will talk about taking casual candid photographs of people. It doesn't take a lot of equipment to make great people pictures , only the know-how. This class is for film or digital photographers.
Photographing the OLD and NEW Worcester
This is a class for photographers of all skill levels. You will learn some basic photography techniques - camera use and composition, while you are working on a documentary photography project. You will be exposed to the works of some of the great documentary photographers in this class. Everyone in the class will work together on a project documenting the "new" and old Worcester. The class will include several classroom sessions and 2 Saturday field trips in Worcester with an instructor who will be happy to help you with your photography. At the end of the class students will have an exhibit of their documentary photographs of Worcester in the Education Department. 6 Monday nights and 2 Saturdays.
If you would like to register for a class please use the link below. And if you have any questions about the classes, please be sure to ask me.
