Interested in photography? Want to meet other people like yourself who just want to improve the pictures they take? Want a relaxed, non pressured place to talk about your pictures, what camera to get, what improvements you can make? New to Digital photography or have a new camera and need some pointers and tips? Just want to hang out with a group taking photographs rather than going out somewhere on your own?

You have found the right place. The Jacksonville Photography Meetup Group was created for the man/woman in the street as well as the driven amateur. No one is going to look down their nose at your camera no matter how simple it looks, or how fancy their camera might look. You will find friendly people interspersed with some very competent photographers who will be only too happy to give you advice if asked, or just as easily hang out with you.

So come join us and have some fun with your camera.

PS - Please note, there is no formal membership fee, but should you wish to make a contribution towards mainaiting this Meetup Group, we suggest a donation of $10 per year. We understand that not everyone has the same financial circumstances, so it is purely voluntary. There is an annual fee charged by meetup.com to deliver this site, so any contributions go towards that.
