PS1-Newark
PS1- Newark is a 11-week free photography program that will you teach you the basic fundamentals of how to operate your Point and Shoot Camera
If your goal is to learn more about photography and/or your new camera, this is the perfect class for you! We plan to meet one day a week to learn about various important concepts such as camera functions, lighting, and image editing software just to name a few.
Our goals are to:
- Mentor, educate, support and foster fellowship among all levels of photographers.
- Enhance confidence in photography
- Raise the level of creativity and skills
PS1-How to operate Your Point and Shoot Digital Camera
For individuals who own a point-and-shoot or compact camera. You will gain a better understanding of your camera’s functions and modes. Learn how to create images to share with your family and friends! This class includes camera demonstrations and photography assignments. Like the C-1, you’ll learn how to prepare and show your work.
In 11 weeks, you should have a better understanding of your camera’s manual modes and the ground rules for using specific functions. We will cover focus, composition, lenses, natural light, and lighting situation. This program includes learning how to prepare and show your work for a gallery show.
Please be sure to bring your cameras and manuals.
