Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook - Hiking and climbing

Let's hike for an Hour and 1/2 this Sunday. This is going to be a weekly hike to climb up over 300 steps to get the other side of the View. When you go hiking on the the Hollywood side, you see little of Baldwin Hills. From here you can see the beautiful Downton Los Angeles, the Griffith Observatory, Westwood, Century City, Palos Verdes, and the Santa Monica Mountains and much more. Some patches are restricted for restoration of the native vegetation. Flowers such as CA poppy, are blooming and at the top when you think you are going to die after climbing the stairs, you actually get refreshed with a soft and nice breeze, you get some energy back and in less than you think, you are done with your workout.

I am planning to start earlier mayby 5:30 PM the following Sundays.

The parking is free on Jefferson Blvd. or you can drive up to the top and pay $ 6. you just have to come a little earlier to find your "perfect" spot, this is one the most popular hikes in LA, so you will understand why when you come.Great view and great workout and great opportunities to make new friends.
