BALDWIN HILLS - KENNETH HAHN PARK: HIKING AND PHOTOGRAPHY
Details
http://photos4.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/6/4/d/e/event_115525822.jpegI am going hiking and photo shooting if I see interesting birds, flowers, city views and people. If you can join me, I will start walking around Gwen Moore lake.
Parking is free during regular weedays.
Around 9:30 I will move toward the Japanese Garden for photos opportunities and around 9:45 I will start hiking for two hours.
After photography I will hike at a medium level, not beginner. I graduated from beginner last year (LOL!) so if you want to do slow walk, we can walk another time.
There are many little trails to follow and is always interesting to visit this beautiful place.
Perhaps we can start seeing some lotus flowers, I think they start blooming in June/July but I also would like to photograph dragonflies and bullgrogs.
Last two times I visited Kenneth Hahn Park I heard a bullfrog mooing just like a bull! It was really funny how it sounds and it kind of frightened me, but those guys never show up to paparazzis.
Well, you are invited.
Note: I know many photographer don't want to come here because they charge a fee for professionals especially with big zooms and tripods and all, but I have a small camera that allows me to take photos without paying any fee so consider reading their Photography permits and rules.
Have a nice one!

Thank you.
Photo: taken on April 30th. 2012 - Kenneth Hahn Park, CA.
Note: This is a hiking meetup and I am doing it as a volunteer, each of us is responsable for own safety and wellbeing, but all together we are going to support and take care as a co-hiker.
My expectation is to form a group and continue doing every week, as a habit and for friendship as well.
Basic stuffs to bring: water, juice, apple, banana; hat, small first aid kit (just in case), and hope. You know what to bring...is a hike after all, although is short and easy.
See you!
