Volunteers Needed!

Hi all,

First off, thanks to everyone who helped out with the research study I conducted a while back (if you're interested in the results, there is a paper from the CHI 2010 conference available on my website that discusses some of our findings).  I have just started recruiting for another study that might be of interest to members of the group.  The official recruitment text is below.  Drop me a note if you are interested in volunteering.

--------

We are seeking volunteers to take part in a research study at Georgia Tech.  Specifically, we are recruiting early career graphic and/or web designers in the Atlanta area who use Photoshop regularly and have basic knowledge of coding in JavaScript or ActionScript.  Extensive knowledge of scripting is not required.   Participants in the study will receive up to $75 as compensation for their time and travel.

Participants will be asked to complete two study sessions on campus at Georgia Tech.  In these sessions you will complete a few short surveys, solve a variety of scripting problems on the computer using Photoshop, and answer some questions about programming.  Each session should take no more than two hours and will be scheduled at your convenience.

If you are interested in participating or have any questions, please contact me by sending an email to [address removed].  After volunteering, you will receive a short email survey about your background that will be used in selecting the study participants.

Feel free to forward this message to others who might be interested in helping us out.

Cheers,
Brian
