To all,

ASMP, an organization for commercial professionals stands for: American Society of Media Photographers which has a local chapter.

I have attended the past 2 sessions and Michael has blown attendees away with his extremely fast paced and entertaining show.
Sit near the front and you will take some good natured abuse by the speaker who has a lot of fun with his students keeping them awake and on their toes.
Thought you might want to pass the invite below on with the caveat that he and most of attendees are Mac based and PCers will take some mock abuse by the man who makes few attempts to speak their slightly different keyboard language.
Not to be missed, all will be exposed and be amazed at hundreds? of new techniques & shortcuts that few even know existed within the Photoshop software!
Suggestion: Keep calm since depending on your skill level, think of it as a crammed-packed demo and feel lucky and still a bargain if you can master only a few of the ideas shown.
ASMPers are a fun crowd as well.
Note that the location of seminar is Webster Univ, NOT Wash U.

Professor Swoboda's Magical Photoshop Tutorials
September 18 -

Greetings Photomatons and Photomatettes,

Consider this email a Save-The-Date announcement for our upcoming evening of explosive Photoshop pyrotechnics with your host, Michael Swoboda.

New Location!

September 18th will be the third annual ASMP Photoshop event with Mr. Swoboda, and those of you who've attended in the past know that he always plays to a packed house. You were lucky if you could even squeeze through the door, which is why this year's event will be held in the roomier, more comfortable, and well-appointed Emerson Library Conference Room at Webster University.

Take It Home!
Mr. Swoboda's techniques are nothing if not impressive, but we all know it's really hard to keep up, much less take notes. Which is why this year we've sweetened the deal by offering a workbook that you can take home from the event. Oh man, this is gonna be big. Word on the street is that more information and screen shots will also be available on the web site.

Why Should I Bother?
* Want real Photoshop techniques you can take to the bank?  Done.

* Want your images to glow with a subtle yet sleek shine?  Done.

* Want to give your work a more artful edge?  This is your night.

* Want simply to be entertained?  Bingo.

* Want to turn that photo you know is crap into something profitable?  C'mon. What do you think this is? We can't condone that kind of thing.

Thursday, September 18

Doors at 6:30pm. Program starts at 7:00.

Where: Webster University, Emerson Library Conference Room (Room 120).
101 Edgar Rd., St. Louis, MO 63119
