Getting started with Slim 3

Slim is a PHP micro framework (http://www.slimframework.com) that enables you to write powerful web applications and APIs. In this talk, I will introduce the key features of Slim and show how you can easily write maintainable applications with it. We will look at all aspects of building an application including set up, routing, middleware and component integration to ensure that you can build a Slim application for yourself.

Speaker bio

We're lucky enough to have Rob Allen (https://akrabat.com) come visit us to talk about Slim Framework. Rob is heavily involved in the PHP community, has talked (https://akrabat.com/talks/) at many international conferences and events, is a major contributor to both Slim and Zend Framework and runs his own PHP consultancy Nineteen Feet (https://19ft.com). It will be great to have Rob come talk to us all about Slim.
